250 free credits to start — about 31 worksheets

Ask for the worksheet. Print it before the bell.

Type what your class needs the way you'd say it out loud. It asks a couple of quick questions, checks the sheet against your state's standards, and hands you the answer key already worked.

How it works

Three steps. You only do the first one once.

No template gallery to scroll, no blanks to fill in. You describe the sheet; it handles the rest of it.

Set up your school once

Your state, your district, the grades and subjects you teach. It takes about ninety seconds and you never do it again.

Ask in your own words

If something you said would change every problem on the page — remainders, decimals, how much room they get to show work — it asks you first instead of guessing.

“Should any answers have remainders?”

Print it. Then keep using it.

Out comes the sheet and its answer key. The recipe that built it is saved with it, so next time you change one line instead of starting over.

same sheet, three-digit →

the part teachers actually keep

In March, say “same thing, but three-digit.”

Every sheet is saved with the full recipe that built it: your brief, the grade, the standards you picked, the theme, the difficulty, even your answers to the clarifying questions. Remix keeps all of that and changes only the one thing you name.

  • Change one value and rebuild the whole sheet — 6 credits, no re-typing.
  • Revisions bump a version number and keep the old one. Nothing you liked is ever lost.
  • Buy a sheet from another teacher and you get their recipe too — not just a flat PDF.

  1. A name and date line

On every sheet, without being asked. The alternative is thirty papers and no names on eleven of them.

  2. The answer key, on its own page

Already worked, printed behind the sheet. Hand out the front, keep the back on your desk.

  3. Your standard code, in the footer

5.NBT.B.6 sits at the bottom of the page, ready to copy straight into your lesson plan.

  4. Line work, never photographs

Themes are drawn with type and rules, so the copier down the hall doesn't eat a cartridge.

and two you can't see from here — tell it “too easy, and give them more room to show work” and it revises that sheet for 3 credits rather than building a different one. And name the book your class is reading: it writes original questions about it, and will not reprint a copyrighted passage.

Ten themes

Pick a look, and it reaches the problems too.

An ocean-themed division sheet is about divers and shells, not just waves in the border. Every theme is drawn in CSS, so it prints the same way every single time.

What it is for

Three afternoons it is meant to save.

Six sheets for the sub folder in one prep period, answer keys included — the part that used to take the longest.

Asked whether you want remainders before it builds anything, so nobody prints forty wrong problems.

September’s sheet pulled up in March, asked for harder numbers, printed. Same sheet, one line different.

Questions

The ones teachers ask first.

Still stuck? Email us and a person answers.

Does it really know my state's standards?

Standard sets for Common Core, California, Texas TEKS, Florida B.E.S.T., New York's Next Generation Learning Standards, NGSS, Ontario and England's National Curriculum ship with it, and your district's full framework can be loaded from a CSV. You pick which standards a sheet should hit, and their codes print in the footer.

What if a problem comes out wrong?

Tell it what's off in plain language. It revises that sheet for 3 credits, bumps the version and keeps the old one, so you can always go back. You see the whole sheet and its answer key before anything gets printed.

Can I build a worksheet on the book we're reading?

Yes, and it writes original questions about it. It is built to refuse to reproduce copyrighted passages — if a sheet needs a reading passage it writes a new one. That's deliberate: reprinting a chapter is the one thing a worksheet tool can do that gets a district in trouble.

Will this work on our school Chromebooks?

There's nothing to install and no app to download. The worksheet builder itself runs without JavaScript — every step is a plain page and a form — so it holds up on a tired Chromebook and a crowded school connection.

What does it cost after the free credits?

Right now, nothing — paid credit packs aren't switched on yet. Your 250 signup credits cover about 31 worksheets, and you can earn more by publishing sheets other teachers unlock or by reviewing theirs.

Who can see my worksheets?

Only you, unless you publish one to the marketplace. Publishing is a deliberate step and a moderator reads the listing before it appears, so nothing of yours goes public by accident.
